So I took the opportunity at lunchtime to walk around downtown – found a battery for my cell phone – so you should be able to call me that way if you need to. It was cold still – in the low 40s - ,but without the rain it wasn’t that bad. Y’all know I love to wear hats so am getting lots of opportunities here – ‘course I only brought one with me. On the way home from work, I actually had to fish for my sunglasses.
I’m going to have to start carrying my camera with me – I did for a couple of days – but no photo ops arose because of the rain. But today, the sun was just barely shining through the clouds over the mountains and down on to the bay – and snow still in the mountains - it was spectacular – wish I’d had my camera.
Becki, I can understand why you love Salt Lake so much – being able to look at the mountains everyday is wonderful!!! And I love being surrounded by water…..water in the ocean that is, not falling from the sky day in day out. J
Tomorrow night – whether it’s raining or not - I’m going to the theatre – just a little community type theatre – read a review of the play the other day and it’s looks interesting.
Barbara, did you ever check on getting us season tickets to the DTC?
