Belgium January 2006 - Love Across the Linquist Divide

Belgium is divided policially and socially between thenorth and south....the French speaking Walloons andthe Dutch speaking Flemish. Just from the little bitof local news I have been able to understand, this isa rivalry that would put our North/South issues seemlike nothing. There is even talk of splitting intotwo countries. The is a scandal going on right now about a marriedpolitian whose long-time mistress is expecting hisbaby. But the scandal isn't th extramarial affair -Belgian politicians rarely have any trouble frompublic opinion over that. Eyebrows are being raisedover the fact the he is a Walloon(and a solialist toboot) and she is Flemish.Hmmmm....maybe some of our guys need to move here.
